For Hansa's 40th Birthday this summer she wanted 40 cupcakes for everyone where she worked to share. These cupcakes are plain vanilla sponge with handmade sugar detailing. Beautifully elegant and perfect to celebrate her special day. I also made Hansa her own special personalised cupcake (decorated slightly different to all the others) presented in a clear acetate box with colourful blossom sprinkles and tied with a ribbon to finish.
Welcome....
Celebrate with cake is abit of a hobby of mine and all started by accident when family and friends started asking me to make cakes for them. I LOVE baking and I have been making cakes with my mum and my grandma since I was knee high so seems second nature to me. Before having my 2 beautiful girls I was an art student and have always had an eye for design. I think this is why I love decorating and designing cakes so much!!
I am relatively new to sugarcraft but am trying new projects everyday and love it! I thought this blog would be a great idea to log my progress and store some pictures of the things I make.

Paige's Christening Sun 28th June 2009
Paige's simple pink polka dot christening cake. With Paige being nearly 1 her mummy and daddy wanted something girlie yet not too babyish and we went with stylish polka dots and matching ribbon finished with some little pink booties! They went with chocolate sponge with chocolate buttercream which is a firm favourite with all especially the little ones!
