Welcome....

Celebrate with cake is abit of a hobby of mine and all started by accident when family and friends started asking me to make cakes for them. I LOVE baking and I have been making cakes with my mum and my grandma since I was knee high so seems second nature to me. Before having my 2 beautiful girls I was an art student and have always had an eye for design. I think this is why I love decorating and designing cakes so much!!

I am relatively new to sugarcraft but am trying new projects everyday and love it! I thought this blog would be a great idea to log my progress and store some pictures of the things I make.

LCFC 50th birthday cake


For my father-in-laws 50th Birthday the family organised a suprise sunday lunch at the LCFC stadium followed by a big family garden party to follow. I decided to keep the cake pretty simple but use the LCFC logo made from edible icing discs. The cake was traditional vanilla sponge with lashings of raspberry jam and vanilla buttercream.
